Really fun set you’d never see from the other company. I’d say 4.5 stars. Certain parts like the fact kept crumbing when trying to snap together. But the directions were good. My biggest issue is how many left over pieces I have. I did every step, triple checked and ended up with nearly 40-50 extra pieces, why?
Also, everyone complaining about the unnumbered bags, look closely it’s a pain but the numbers are stamped on the bags for exactly “4.3” means the third bag for step 4. They’re all there.

Built all four of these. The television in particular is one of the most intricate Lego-type build I’ve ever done.

As a fan of the Saw movies and building bricks, I got this set through JAKI and recently finished it. Having two of my favorite things brought together like this was great and the build went very smoothly. I put together a short list of pros and cons regarding the set and the build.

Pros

The instructions show piece types like 6x16, 4x12, 2x6 with the numbers beside them. That makes it easier than trying to count the studs in the picture to make sure you get the right piece.

The instructions also show 3D and top down views in some steps that help you see where certain components go so there's no guesswork.

The bricks are sturdy with no flaws and are interchangeable with other popular brands.

Cool features like a button that plays the "laugh" when pressed, a knob that moves Billy's hand forward or backwards, and another knob that lights up Billy's eyes.

Cons

Out of 31 bags, only 15 numbered. The rest were just clear bags with nothing on them and full of parts.

When looking for parts, you have to look through the unnumbered bags if you don't see the piece you need in the numbered bag.

No option for PDF instructions. This is a small thing, but sometimes its easier to view the instructions on a tablet so you can zoom in if needed instead of having a book take up space in your build area.

So many special features on this quality full-size, licensed set

I am both an avid horror movie fan and building brick set collector. I was so excited when I saw this set, and it exceeded my expectations when it arrived. It's quite a large set that will give me a lot of build time. It comes with a very large, easy-to-see, full-color paper manual that is bound and not stapled. All of the bags are clearly numbered. There are several printed building blocks, including the spirals on the cheeks, so I don't have to worry about applying stickers or labels. It comes with more features than I've probably ever seen in a set... including lighting effects and multiple motion effects. The bricks themselves are very high-quality. The plastic is dense and not brittle. It is comparable to other major brands. There are many pearly metallic pieces, as well as some plated metallic pieces. The pieces I tested fit together perfectly. They are not loose and not too tight. I don't see any imperfections in the plastic that would affect the build. Considering all of the features, playability, the piece count, and the fact that it is officially licensed, I definitely feel it is priced appropriately. This is a perfect set to build while having a Saw movie marathon! To escape this build, you must complete the final step. The pieces are simple... The challenge is yours.

Great Gift for a Horror Movie Fan

My son loves horror, movies, and has seen all of the saw movies. He also loves building black set so I knew this would be a great gift.

The set has over 1000 pieces and also has some electronic features. My son built it with his friend and found the instructions to be pretty good. The pieces are really small so this isn't a good set for a younger kid. My son is 20. He was really excited to get the set since you don't see horror movie Lego sets very often.

He had a lot of fun putting it together. He's not quite done with some of the electronic parts because they're a little bit complex.

It is good quality and the build looks really nice.

The one thing I will say is it's pretty expensive. These kind of sets tend to be expensive and this is complex, but it isn't a huge set size wise.

The look is great. But the tricycle doesn't have enough support to carry the top heavy body. Getting the handlebars and the arms to stay on in the exact spot is difficult to keep everything in place. The bricks that hold the legs don't have very good support to where they fall off easily. I'll need to super glue things to keep it on. But like I said I really like the design just some of the supporting bricks aren't very good.
